Seeley triggers Great Valley’s win over Octorara

ATGLEN – Freshman Ethan Seeley’s stunning comeback victory triggered a five-match run that carried Great Valley to a 48-21 Ches-Mont League American Division triumph over host Octorara Wednesday night.
Down 4 points with 10 seconds left in his 170-pound bout, Seeley used a headlock for a 4-point move and then recorded a takedown to secure the sudden victory in the extra session.
The narrow 24-21 lead forged by Seeley’s win suddenly opened to 42-21 on consecutive pins by Eric Payne (182), Joe Campbell (195) and Pat Driscoll (220). Earlier, Luke Wilson (126), Jack Semar (132) and Michael Colon (138) had falls for the Patriots (1-0, 4-1).
For the Braves (0-1, 3-3), Seth Hoopes (113), Noah Hoopes (145) and Scott Burridge (160) all notched first-period falls.
