Rustin wins 8th straight behind Pileggi, Myers, Spaniak; Shanahan drills Avon Grove

Rustin 15, Unionville 7 – Will Pileggi and Vince Myers combined for seven goals, Jake Spaniak ruled the faceoff circle with 21-25 efficiency and Tom Handy picked up 10 saves to carry the streaking Golden Knights past the Indians in Ches-Mont action.
The win was the eighth straight for Rustin, which climbed above the .500 mark at 9-8 on the season. The loss drops the Indians to 9-8.

Bishop Shanahan 15, Avon Grove 8 – The Eagles (14-1) scored eight unanswered goals in the second quarter to pull away from a 3-3 deadlock and post the Ches-Mont triumph as Bryan Rafferty and Kyle Gucwa contributed four goals and one assist apiece while Tyler Kingsbury won 88 percent (22-25) of the faceoffs.
Zach Augustine cashed three goals and one assist and Zac Hanway picked up 12 saves for the Red Devils (10-4).

Rocco Grello, Ben DeLaney and Jacob Greiner all delivered hat tricks for WC East in its monumental win. For the Warriors (10-5), Luke Wierman led the way with two goals, one assist and 17-22 faceoff efficiency.
