COATESVILLE – There’s a new sheriff in town – Coatesville.

Buoyed by a balanced effort keyed by triple-winner Liam Schroeder’s individual wins in the 200 free (1:50.92) and 500 free (4:55.31), the Red Raiders ended Perkiomen Valley’s three-year reign atop the Ches-Mont League National Division with a 98-88 victory Friday afternoon.

Caesar Asadi was a triple-winner while Drew Furcon , RJ Hammond and Bryce Nika were involved in two victories apiece in Coatesville’s title-clinching victory. Both teams entered the showdown with perfect 6-0 league records, but the Red Raiders were up to the task, also getting a pivotal win in diving from Ryan Hemlock.

For the Vikings, who made things close by taking first in the closing events – 100 back (Nate Kell) and 400 free relay – Kyle Dix led the way with triumphs in the 200 IM and 100 free.
