Unionville, West Chester East, Henderson advance in district lacrosse

(11) Unionville 12, (22) WC Rustin 6 – Will Ciccarelli posted a hat trick with one assist while Drew Lenkaitis and Joey Detorre added two goals apiece with a combined three assists to lead the Indians to the opening round win in the District 1-AAA playoffs Wednesday.
The victory sends Unionville (13-6) into a second-round matchup Thursday (5:30 pm) at (6) Central Bucks West while the Golden Knights conclude their season at 8-10.

(7) Henderson 16, (10) Devon Prep 3 – Archer Rymiszewski collected six goals and one assist, Joe Saulino delivered a hat trick with one assist and Pat Keegan and Jack Saulino chipped in with two goals apiece and a combined three assists as the Warriors breezed to victory in the first round of the District 1-AA playoffs.
Henderson, which was never challenged after bolting out to an 11-0 halftime lead, hits the road to face (2) Springfield-Delco in the quarterfinals Friday night (7 pm).
