Unionville, Great Valley advance to state quarterfinals in boys team tennis

Ches-Mont League boys tennis powerhouses Unionville and Great Valley both ran the table in the opening round of the PIAA Class 3A team tournament Tuesday.
The Indians blanked Cedar Crest 5-0 while the Patriots shut out La Salle College High 5-0 to advance to the state quarterfinals Friday at the Hershey Racquet Club.
Unionville got five straight sets wins from Tristan Bradley, Ethan Bradley and Victor Li at first, second and third singles, while the first and second doubles teams of Clay Horowitz-Andrew Poprick and Kevin Liao-Parik Radhakrishnan also cruised.
