Top-seeded Nair, Hutsell, Wilks, Walter reach American singles semis

KENNETT SQUARE – Top-seeded Adira Nair of Great Valley held serve, losing just three games total in two matches, en route to the semifinal round of the Ches-Mont League’s American Division singles championship Friday at Kennett.
Nair topped Rustin’s Kaitlyn Maniscalco 6-0, 6-1 and Octorara’s Kelly Lomboy 6-1, 6-1 in the quarterfinals to reach the semis, where she’ll face Rustin’s Taylor Hutsell – a 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 winner over Unionville’s Bailey Santiguida.
The other semifinal will pit Unionville teammates Eliza Wilks and Leah Walter.
