Smyth, Miller propel Downingtown West; Great Valley rolls behind Podell, Liberatoscoli

Downingtown West 6, Kennett 2 – The Whippets bolted out to a 3-0 halftime lead and never looked back in notching the Ches-Mont interdivisional triumph Tuesday. JJ Smyth finished with three goals and an assist, Anna Miller cashed two goals and Celina Riccardo came through with one goal and one assist for D-West. Claire Borman was stellar in goal for the Blue Demons with 22 saves.
