Slow start dooms Sun Valley in loss to Upper Merion

UPPER MERION  – Kyle Ryan dropped 13 points and Ryan Hall chipped in with 8 but it wasn’t enough to overcome a sluggish start for Sun Valley in a 63-40 nonleague loss Wednesday. The Vanguards fell behind 34-16 at the break when the Vikings, who knocked down eight 3-balls, posted a 23-8 edge in the second quarter.
