Rymiszewski, Mascetti, Turse lead Henderson to state quarterfinals

ROSEMONT – Henderson seized control from the start and Archer Rymiszewski collected five goals and one assist in an 18-6 romp over (12-2) Archbishop Wood in the opening round of the PIAA Class AA tournament Tuesday at Harriton High.
The District 1 runnerup Warriors, who will face (1-3) Strath Haven in the state quarterfinals Saturday at a time and site to be determined, were never challenged after bolting out to leads of 8-1 after one quarter and 13-3 by the break.
Also for Henderson, Nick Mascetti and Matt Turse combined for six goals and three assists. Strath Haven advanced with a 15-9 triumph over District 3 champion Palmyra.
