O’Hare helps Rustin shoot by Great Valley; Henderson stays perfect behind Torrance, Ferguson

Rustin 49, Great Valley 40 – The Golden Knights overcame a slow start with a strong finish – overcoming a 35-32 deficit with a 17-5 run in the fourth quarter – en route to the Ches-Mont League American Division victory Thursday night.
Rustin’s Maggie O’Hare was 10-for-10 at the stripe to finish with 17 points, including 10 in the pivotal final frame, offsetting Sadie Buzan’s team-high 15 for the Patriots.

Henderson 65, Coatesville 42 – Erin Torrance (23 points, 8 rebounds), Grace Ferguson (13 points, 14 rebounds) and Erin Thompson (16 points, 5 steals) were the linchpins for the unbeaten Warriors in their Ches-Mont National demolition of the Red Raiders.
For Coatesville, which was unable to sustain a solid start that produced a 14-13 lead in the first quarter, Neveyah Chester hit 4 treys for 21 points and Sarah Huston chipped in with 13.

Bishop Shanahan 43, West Chester East 38 – The Eagles seized control from the jump, building a 19-11 halftime lead and holding on down the stretch en route to the Ches-Mont League National Division verdict Thursday night.
Katherine Greenhut collected 14 points and Sammie McCarter added 12 for Shanahan while Marissa McDonald netted a game-high 15 points for the Vikings.

Oxford 36, Unionville 32 – The Hornets captured the Ches-Mont American decision behind the sharp-shooting of Jaime Herrin, who hit a pair of treys en route to 14 points.
For the Indians, who led 17-16 at the break before Oxford used a 12-3 run to go up 28-20 heading into the fourth quarter, Grace Schrof matched Herrin’s totals with 14 points including two triples.

For the Red Devils, who were unable to recover after falling behind 39-22 by halftime, Jamie Perkins led the way with 21 points.
