Mat wrap: Rustin finishes second at Cardinal Invitational

West Chester Rustin got silver medal finishes from Charlie Baldesari (132) and Zack Jones (195) en route to second place in the team standings at Upper Dublin’s 17-school Cardinal Invitational Saturday.
Notching thirds and bronze medals for the Ches-Mont American Division champion Golden Knights were Jimmy King (113), Nate Johnson (120), Josh Viarengo (126), Chris Hatzipavlides (170), Ian Crowe (182) and Owen Walsh (220).
Rounding out the medal haul for Rustin were Matt Griffith (160) with a fourth, and Gabe Lourido (128), Alex Pratzner (145) and Gabe Walsh (285) with fifths after all three recorded falls in the medal round.
Wissahickon took the team title with 182 points, Rustin was second with 171 while Interboro (131), Perkiomen Valley (103) and CB West (88) rounded out the top five.
