Klieber, McDonald power West Chester East; Great Valley stifles Unionville

West Chester East 46, Avon Grove 39 – Lauren Klieber connected for 15 points and Marissa McDonald chipped in with 11 as the Vikings recorded the Ches-Mont League National Division wire-to-wire victory Monday.
WC East (7-4 league, 13-8 overall) gradually built leads of 9-6, 21-14 and 31-15 through the first three quarters and had plenty of cushion to absorb a late 21-15 charge from the Red Devils (2-8, 6-13), who were led by Jamie Perkins’ 15 points.

Great Valley 34, Unionville 26 – The Patriots (6-3 league, 14-6 overall) led from start to finish in their Ches-Mont League American triumph to improve to 6-1 in their last seven starts.
Leading the way for Great Valley with a combined 19 points were Anna Porreca and Tessa Liberatoscioli, offsetting Anna Iacocca’s game-high 13 for the Indians (3-5, 9-11)
