Henderson, Unionville advance to semis, qualify for states

WEST CHESTER – Top-seeded Henderson advanced to the semifinals of District 1-AAA girls tennis team championship with a 5-0 shutout of Upper Dublin Thursday.
The victory also qualifies the Warriors for the PIAA state tournament with the win and sets up a Monday All Ches-Mont League match with (4) Unionville, which moved on by taking out Downingtown East 3-2 behind Sophie Wilks’ three-set victory at first singles. The Indians also punched their ticket to the PIAA tourney with the win.
