Henderson sweeps; Reardon, Lewis, Pincura power Downingtown West (updated)

Henderson 3, Marple Newtown 0 –Randi Desrosiers picked up four kills while Taylor Dale chipped in with 18 assists and six aces for the Warriors, who improved to 10-4 overall with the nonleague sweep by counts of 25-6, 25-12, 25-7 Friday.

Downingtown West 3, Penncrest 1 – The Whippets (6-3 overall) recorded the nonleague triumph by counts of 25-22, 20-25, 25-17, 25-23 behind stat leaders Aly Reardon (20 kills), Hailey Lewis (14 kills, 5 blocks), Kenzie Pincura (10 kills, 2 aces), Chloe O’Donnell (26 assists, 11 digs), Brynn Nanni (5 blocks) and Paige Polsin (15 digs).

Rustin 3, Perkiomen Valley 2 – Emma Nelson collected 29 kills and 14 digs to help the Golden Knights rally for the nonleague win – 25-19, 22-25, 23-25, 25-23, 16-14. Other key contributors for Rustin included Kaia Johnson (11 kills, 3 blocks), Alessia Matters (27 kills, 13 digs), Callie McGinnis (37 assists) and Emily Supplee (18 digs).

West Chester East 3, Upper Darby 0 – The Vikings cruised 25-18, 25-5, 25-21 behind Taylor Crawford’s 20 digs and Ryleigh Griffin’s 19 assists.

Owen J. Roberts 3, Oxford 0 – The Hornets dropped the nonleague match in straight sets 25-16, 25-22, 25-20 despite solid performances from Sarah Robinson (16 digs, 9 kills), Danielle Stackhouse (22 digs), Logan Wolfe (8 killx, 3 aces) and Julianna Huggard (3 blocks).

Sun Valley 3, Ridley 0 – Hannah Vickers (13 kills, 16 assists, 5 blocks), Olivia Nickerson (11 kills, 11 digs) and Kristine Guenther (19 assists, 9 kills) helped the Vanguards (8-5) sweep the nonleague match 25-20, 25-23, 26-24.
