Henderson, Rustin, Great Valley drop nonleague encounters

Strath Haven 14, Henderson 5 – Trailing just 8-5 at the break, the Warriors were outscored 6-0 in the second half of their season-opening nonleague setback Saturday.
Jeff Benson recorded a hat trick, Luke Weirman cashed two goals and Ryan McKie posted 8 saves for Henderson.

Central Bucks West 9, Rustin 8 – The Golden Knights staged a furious comeback with a 6-1 run in the fourth quarter but came up one goal short in their nonleague setback.
Jack Spaniak ruled the faceoff circle with 14-20 efficiency and added a goal for Rustin, which got two goals each and a combined 3 assists from Michael Burke and Alex Hutsell.
