Great Valley’s Kesti/Gangoli repeat at Ches-Mont American doubles championship

KENNETT SQUARE  – Great Valley’s top-seeded doubles tandem of Sam Kesti and Nikhil Gangoli won their second straight Ches-Mont League American Division doubles championhip with a three-set win Saturday at Kennett.
Kesti/Gangoli had all they could handle with Unionville’s Ethan Bradley/Victor Li before pulling out a hard-earned 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 decision.
In addition to capturing the Ches-Mont American title last season, Kesti/Gangoli went on to finish second in the District 1-AAA tournament and third in the PIAA tournament.
In the third-place consolation match Saturday, Unionville’s Daniel Hopping/Zach Sokoloff topped Great Valley’s Amish Saini/Ryan Hamel in three sets, 6-3, 1-6, 7-5.
