Fricker hurls Rustin by Henderson; Choi’s 2 HRs boost Downingtown East

Rustin 3, Henderson 2 – Matt Fricker fired a complete=game, two-hitter with two strikeouts and Dylan Demarco and Nick Halcovich drove in runs for the Golden Knights in their Ches-Mont League crossover victory Monday.
Picking up RBI for the Warriors, who wasted a strong start from Brendan Gray, were Owen McCarthy and Cole Stevens on sacrifice flies.

Downingtown East 10, Great Valley 0, 6 innings – Albert Choi drove in four runs with two homers, a double and single and Tommy Ajjan also picked up four RBI with a double and single as the Cougars cruised to the Ches-Mont crossover win.
Michael Defant and Kevin Weigand combined on a nine-hit shutout with two walks and six strikeouts while losing pitcher Brendan O’Donnell led the Patriots with two hits.

Kennett 5, Bishop Shanahan 2 – Nic Gustafson, Louis Sharp, Nate Lillis and Nick Patterson drove in runs during a four-run burst in the sixth inning that expanded a 1-0 lead and carried the Blue Demons to the Ches-Mont interdivisional win.

Ryan Fritz gained the mound win, allowing two runs on six hits over 6 1/3 innings with six strikeouts, while Mitch Balint swatted a solo home run in the third inning for Kennett.
