Daniels, Magrone lift Rustin by West Chester East; Huston’s 36 powers Coatesville

Rustin 59, West Chester East 41 – The Golden Knights (14-6) seized control with an 18-1 run in the opening quarter, eventually building their lead to an insurmountable 37-13 at the break to capture the nonleague win over their crosstown rivals Saturday.
Dakiya Daniels scored a game-high 16 points to pace Rustin, which also got 14 points and four trifectas from Becca Magrone and another 9 points from Laney Costin.
For the Vikings (12-8), Mackenzie Richardson buried four triples for 12 points, Marissa McDonald added 12 and Lauren Klieber finished with 10.

Coatesville 79, Oxford 34 – Sarah Huston exploded for a career-high 36 points on Senior Day in the Red Raiders’ Ches-Mont League crossover victory. Danae Ellzy added 17 points and Shyne Boggs chipped in with 10 for Coatesville (8-13), which was never challenged after bolting out to a 26-5 lead in the first quarter.
Anna Hampshire and Cristina Fernandez combined for 17 points and three treys to pace the Hornets (7-11).
