How Coatesville got here: The unbeaten Ches-Mont League National Division champions completed their tour de force through the District 1 playoffs, notching their second straight district 6A title with a 42-13 domination of top-seeded North Penn. Coatesville racked up 326 rushing yards and used a 35-7 run spanning the first and second halves to secure the win. Michigan State-bound RB Aaron Young rushed for 175 yards and 3 TDs on 18 carries while versatile QB Ricky Ortega added 119 rushing yards and one TD on 11 carries. The Red Raiders topped CB East 48-10, Downingtown East 38-19 and Garnet Valley 42-7 en route to the district final.
 
How Harrisburg got here: The Cougars, who have rattled off 13 straight wins since their season-opening loss to Coatesville, took the District 3 title with a 16-6 decision over Central Dauphin on the heels of a 36-12 dismantling of Wilson. Harrisburg, the Mid-Penn Commonwealth League champion (7-0), has scored 50-plus points three times this season.
