Coatesville girls capture 4×400 gold at Penn Relays


PHILADELPHIA  – Coatesville’s  Sammie Miller, Patrisha Rokins, Arianna Eberly and Porsha Miles finished first in the High School Girls’  4×400 Suburban Ches-Mont race Thursday at the Pen Relays at Franklin Field. The quartet posted a 3:54.62 clocking with the following splits: Miller (58.96), Rokins (59.57), Eberly (58.51), Miles (57.60).

Henderson took second in the 4×400 with a time of 4:06.69 – paced by Nacera Gomaa (1:02.50), Aisling Langan (58.63), Karis Demi (1:02.93) and Kate Conwell (1:02.64).

Placing third in the event was Kennett (4:10.22) with the quartet of Scarlet Morgan, Claire Dawyot, Gina Lusvardi and Alex Cresci while Downingtown East (4:11.36) clocked in fourth with the group of Siena Urbanski, Miranda Lawrence, Nikara Hall and Charlotte Roumpz.

Rounding out the top five with a clocking of 4:11.92 was Avon Grove’s quartet of of Molly O’Connor, Kaylin Cousin, Maggie Keegan and Sydney Paglia.
