Coatesville, Downingtown West suffer season-ending losses in district playbacks

(8) Conestoga 6, (12) Coatesville 2 – The Red Raiders’ season ended with the loss to the heavy-hitting Pioneers in District 1-6A playbacks Tuesday.
Conestoga built a 6-0 lead through five innings behind an eight-hit attack that including three doubles, one triple and two home runs.
Natalie Florshutz, Maggie Kane, Maddie Fleming, Kayla Bock and Payton Landis had hits for Coatesville.

(6) Neshaminy 3, (7) Downingtown West 2 – The Whippets (16-7) suffered the season-ending loss in the playback phase of the District 1-6A tournament when the Redskins’ Alexis Watkins snapped a 2-2 tie with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth inning.
