Caufield, Gray pace Henderson: Rustin tops Avon Grove behind Watson, Hopkins

Henderson 4, Downingtown East 3 – The Warriors pushed across the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning and got two hits apiece from Casey Caufield and and Brendan Gray in their Ches-Mont League National Division victory Wednesday.  Cameron Reichlin had a pair of hits for the Cougars.
 
Rustin 6, Avon Grove 1 – Ben Watson struck out nine in 6.1 overpowering innings and Sean Hopkins went 3-for-3 with a tone-setting, leadoff home run in the bottom of the first inning as the Golden Knights took the Ches-Mont League crossover win.

Anthony Bertolami went 3-for-4 and Simmi Whitehill added three hits and two RBI for the Eagles.
