Benslimane powers West Chester East; Dolce, Unionville blank Kennett – updated

West Chester East 4, Bishop Shanahan 1 – The unbeaten Vikings (2-0 league, 4-0 overall) got two goals from Driss Benslimane and single strikes from Chris Ryan and Nick Bottaro to record the Ches-Mont League National Division win over the Eagles Tuesday. Connor Bailey had the lone goal for Shanahan.
 
Unionville 2, Kennett 0 – Alec Dolce had 12 saves for the clean sheet, Garrett Pinkston excelled at the defensive end and Michael Hewes posted two assists on first-half goals by Evan Dougherty and Tommy Kelly to lead the Indians past the Blue Demons, who got strong performances from Alex Lopez and keeper Juan Guerrero (12 saves).

Downingtown East 3, Great Valley 2, 2 OTs – Zach DeLone scored off a Luc Rising assist in the first minute of the second OT to help the Cougars secure the comeback Ches-Mont interdivisional win. D-East had forced the extra session when Chris Comber headed home a Cesar May pass with 3:00 left in regulation.

Henderson 4, Coatesville 0 – The Warriors improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the Ches-Mont National behind a balanced attack and the flawless netminding of Jon Jungkurth and Tommy DeAngelis. Collecting goals for Henderson were Jack Cotellesse, Kevin Kiefer, Joao Argolo, and Chris Roberts.
